1. How to behave in the event of a crash on the highway? Some important tips.

Anyone can crash a car on an expressway or a highway. This is not a place that is too friendly to this type of event. Large traffic, fast-speeding cars, no any help within a radius of several, several kilometers...
Let's not panic, the most important thing is to keep calm and sober thinking.
What we do:

• 1. we try to go down the emergency lane and turn on the emergency lights
• 2. we put on a reflective vest
• 3. we set up a warning triangle at a distance of 100 m behind the car
• 4. for our own safety, we pass behind the protective barriers separating the roadway from the roadside (it is better not to stay in a damaged car because there is a risk of invading other cars)
• 5. We call on the road service, which will secure the place of failure (phone number we will find on the ticket with gates, there are also special yellow phones arranged every 2 kilometers)
• 6. We call for a tow truck or mobile service for smaller faults.
• Remember that towing the car from a high-speed road is only possible by the vehicle for this purpose. For safety reasons, cars are not allowed to win on the rope" on the motorways, as the Road Code says.

2. What to do during winter time when the car does not want to start?

What should be done if one can't fire a vehicle while there are low temperatures? First of all, do not make further attempts to running the starter as this can cause a complete battery discharge and, in the worst case, damage to the starter itself. The most common cause of this unpleasant situation is the precipitation of paraffin from off the fuel or the fuel itself freezing. In this case, the best solution is to move the car into a dry and warm garage, where the fuel will get warmer or waiting until the fuel is defrosted by the influence of the sun. If these ways do not have an effect, the remaining solution is to pay a visit in a car service station. Another cause may be the poor battery condition – long-term operation has a huge impact on power and stable voltage. Manufacturers predict battery life for 3 to 5 years. In both of the cases, we are at your service. 3. You've mistakenly poured wrong kind of a fuel – what to do next?

Some of the drivers were surprised during car refueling, which apperas to be relatively simple operation. A wide range of fuels and non-concomitant distributor markings have caused customers of gas stations to often pour petrol into their diesels and vice versa.
What to do in this situation? If we noticed our error during refuelling, the effects can be avoided by emptying the fuel tank and refueling the car again with the right fuel. 4. No power during the start-up of the car – start-up cables and how to use it.

The discharged battery after a cold night is a frequent view on Warsaw parking lots. One of the most popular way of handling this problem is to use starting cables, and a good will of the neighbour or by passing person who will "lend" us a little bit of own battery power.
The process of connecting the donor and recipient vehicles is done by connecting the positive battery sockets with a red cable, and the black cable is used to connect the negative socket of the recipient's battery and metal element in the engine compartment, which creates so called "mass" allowing the current to flow. However, it should be underlined that the inappropriate use of starting cables may cause battery malfunction, explosion or destruction of the electrical installation of vehicles. 5. How to find a spare wheel, how is it used and what problems with it may we face?

The popular "having a flat tire" can catch us in any given moment. Cars are equipped with spare wheel and tools to replace it. Most often, full set is located on the floor of the trunk, just below its cargo space. In the case of cars equipped with gas (LPG) installation, this place is adapted for the gas tank, and the equipment is located in the trunk.
Typically, the set consists: full-size spare wheel or so-called "get-tho-the-service" wheel, hoist and wheel wrench.
Contrary to the popular beliefs, the operation is relatively simple, yet we have to remeber about some basic things:

• - make car unmovable by activating the hand break;
• - if we are on the road, put the service vest, place the warning triangle at least 100m behind the car;
• - after securoing the car and ourselves, we loosen up the wheel screws by unscrew them for half of a full rotation;
• - then we use a lifter, change the wheel and screw the screws back firmly;
• - after about 75 km there is a need to chech if the screws are not loosen up;
• - maximum allowed speed on a service wheel is 80 km/h or 50 mph;
